100% USER & ECO-FRIENDLY

Redefining the Abrasive Industry

Every day, thousands of glass bottles are discarded, forgotten and left without purpose. But at Keystone Ecoglass, we see something different: hidden value, unrealized potential, and a resource ready to be reborn. Keystone Ecoglass RCG, — the glass abrasive that lowers cost and protects the environment. We transform discarded glass into a premium, sustainable, non-toxic abrasive media trusted across the industries that build and maintain our modern world. From oil and gas to shipbuilding, aerospace to construction—abrasive blasting is essential to strengthening, restoring, and extending the life of critical assets.

100% USER & ECO-FRIENDLY

The Market for Abrasive Grit

Abrasive blasting involves and is applicable to major industries such shipbuilding, the oil & gas industry; on and offshore platforms, pipelines and other associated structures, just to name a few. Blasting activities is also common in other fields such as in aviation and automobile industries for new fabrication and routine maintenance activities.

In perusing the competitiveness and superiority of our glass grit compared with competitors’ mineral-based ones, we have undertaken live demos of our product against theirs, both independently and with potential customers. The results were overwhelmingly positive for all aspects including that of performance, volume and cost considerations. Since our recycled glass grit is classified as non-scheduled waste, the disposal of it is easy and cost-efficient in comparison to mineral- based grit.

What is Abrasive Blasting / Sandblasting?

Abrasive blasting — commonly known as sandblasting — is an essential surface preparation process used before coating or painting steel structures. It is widely applied in the steel fabrication industry, shipyards, offshore and onshore oil & gas platforms, factories, and various industrial facilities.

This process is required by classification societies and industrial ISO standards to meet certification and renewal requirements.

Abrasive blasting effectively removes old paint, rust, scale, and surface contaminants, creating a clean, profiled surface that ensures strong adhesion for new coatings or paint systems.

Abrasive blasting surface preparation uses high-pressure compressed air to propel abrasive media onto a surface in order to achieve the following results:

● Remove rust and contaminants from steel or other materials

●Create a suitable surface profile (roughness) to ensure proper adhesion of paint or coating systems

● Refurbish and restore surfaces such as metal, wood, and

    concrete, among many other applications
